In first your journey starts with the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage view.
Pinnawala Time Frame
- Daily feeding times – 9.15 am, 1.15 pm, and 5.00 pm.
- Bathing times – 10.00 am, 2.00 pm, and 4.00 pm.
And then on heading to Temple Tooth Relic in Kandy, in the evening you are at Cultural Dance Show, and later on Wood Carving.

Matale - Dambulla.
Drive: Approximately 03:00 Hours (90 km)

In the morning, Chauffer will take you via Spice Garden in Matale.
You will be exploring the famous “Golden Rock” (Rangiri Dambullu) cave temple.
This pilgrimage site for 22 centuries, this cave monastery by Buddhist Monks, and the engineering & architecture that existed in 03rd Century B.C. a vast isolated rock mass with its five caverns is the largest best preserved cave-temple in Sri Lanka. The Buddhist mural paintings (covering above of 2,000 sq. meters) are of particular importance as well as the 157 statues, with a 13.4 Meters long statue of the recumbent Buddha.
Sigiriya.
Drive: Approximately 01.00 Mins (23 km)
Early morning, you be climbing the rock fortress of Sigiriya – a 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky“. Built by King Kassiyappa the fortress was a Royal Citadel for more than 18 Centuries.
The Lion Lock is a citadel of unusual beauty, which has been declared by UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rising 200 meters from the scrub jungle. The base of the rock is ringed by a moat and rampart and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens. The majestic Lion’s Paw picturesquely guards the stairway of the palace on the summit.
See the famous frescoes of the “Heavenly Maidens” of Sigiriya in a sheltered pocket of the rock and the 10 foot high Mirror Wall. The massive paintings are believed to be the largest in the world.

4 DAY
Polonnaruwa.
Drive: Approximately 1.30 Hours (67 km)

The Ancient Ceylon – Which was the Capital of Sri Lanka from the 11th to 13th Century, a well-planned medieval city defended by enclosing walls (around 5 km. which still able to witness), graced by palaces, shrines, monasteries, pavilions, parks, ponds and irrigation lakes. Polonnaruwa is strewn with ruins in a resplendent state of preservation.
The ‘Gal Vihara‘ which consists of statues of the recumbent, standing and seated Buddha have been cut from a single granite wall and standing, sleeping Buddha, this we called Triple Buddha’s in a one place, rank among the true masterpieces of Sri Lankan Art.
With its historical remains this place is believed to be one of the best planned archaeological relic sites in the country.
Minneriya – Between 03.00 pm – 06.00 pm, the place you will be witnessing the reservoir with Elephant on Safari Ride.

5 DAY
Negombo
Drive: Approximately 5:00 Hours (230 km)

We will be directly reaching Negombo, (Western Province) long drive, and will be stopping for refreshments upon Guest requests.
As an option, Guest can request for normal route ride, if Chauffer can manage the drive, in safe way.
